MiniForest Planting - Biodiversity Island at Sant'Lago School
In November, with support from Lisnave, a new Biodiversity Island (Miyawaki method) will be planted at Sant'Lago School, in Setúbal, following the example of the first island planted at the Lisnave shipyard.
About the project
Ilhas de Biodiversidade plants dense native mini-forests with the Miyawaki method in industrial, educational and community settings across Portugal, pairing fast reforestation with scientific monitoring and community involvement.
