Long-term Family Volunteers
Looking for a family with a campervan or similar house on wheels to join as long-term volunteers. 10 hours of work per week from each adult in exchange for parking and access to facilities (grid electricity, outdoor kitchen, compost toilet, hot showers, natural pool, wooden cabin, fruit from mature trees). Food and wifi not provided. Typical tasks: processing firewood, forest work, vegetable garden help, simple carpentry, tending chickens, or other tasks matched to skills. About the project
Quinta Kania is an ecological permaculture homestead in Tábua, central Portugal, with courses, workshops, farm tours and hands-on natural building. Kasia and Franz founded it and built it by hand over eight years, and the farm's focus is food forests, ecological building and community education.
