Long-term family volunteers (work exchange)
Quinta Kania Farm is looking for a family living in a campervan or similar vehicle to join as long-term volunteers. In exchange for a parking spot and access to facilities (grid electricity, outdoor kitchen, compost toilet, hot showers, natural pool, wooden cabin, fruit from the orchard), each adult contributes 10 hours of work per week. Typical tasks include processing firewood, forest work, vegetable garden help, simple carpentry, and tending chickens. Food and wifi are not provided. Apply by emailing farm@quintakania.com with information about yourself; a trial month is offered after a video call.
About the project
Quinta Kania is an ecological permaculture homestead in Tábua, central Portugal, offering courses, workshops, farm tours, and hands-on natural building experiences. Founded and built by hand over eight years, the farm focuses on food forests, ecological building, and community education.
