Beach Clean-up Volunteer – Praia da Foz do Lizandro
Join Movimento ALP's recurring environmental volunteering action to clean Praia da Foz do Lizandro, in Mafra, from 15:00 to 17:00. Open to almost all ages (6 to 80), no prior experience or registration required; children must be accompanied by an adult. Gloves and bags are recommended (available on loan).
About the project
Movimento ALP is a registered national initiative that has been organising community beach clean-ups and eco team-building activities across Portugal since 2011. It has collected around 19 tonnes of litter and avoided 37 tonnes of CO₂ emissions so far.
