AJAP attends food chain relations meeting in Santarém

The Portuguese young farmers' association AJAP took part in a meeting of PARCA, the platform monitoring relations in the agri-food chain, held in Santarém on 12 June. PARCA brings together producer organisations, industry, distribution, cooperatives and public bodies to discuss transparency, competitiveness and balance in the sector's commercial relations. Other participants included CAP, CNA, CONFAGRI, CNJ, FIPA, APED and CCP. AJAP said its involvement helps ensure young farmers' concerns are considered in decisions shaping the future of Portuguese agriculture, and pledged to keep engaging in such forums.
