APREN holds 11th award ceremony and talent debate on 29 June

The Portuguese Renewable Energy Association (APREN) will hold the 11th edition of its APREN Prize on 29 June at Culturgest in Lisbon, recognising outstanding academic work in energy and sustainability. The event opens with an EY-Parthenon study on renewable energy's employment impact through 2030 and 2040, followed by a panel on attracting and retaining talent for the energy transition, featuring industry, academic and government representatives. The programme also includes the award ceremony for Master's and PhD categories, with the aim of highlighting the growing need for skilled workers as the renewables sector expands its economic and decarbonisation role in Portugal.
