Energy minister to open conference marking Jornal PT Green anniversary

Portugal's Environment and Energy Minister, Maria da Graça Carvalho, will open a conference on 23 September at the National Library in Lisbon marking the first anniversary of Jornal PT Green. The event, titled "Transição energética: Desafios da nova ordem mundial", brings together energy sector leaders and specialists to discuss diversification, efficiency, self-consumption, digitalisation and renewable gases such as biomethane. Jorge Sousa, of ACER and ERSE, will give the keynote, while APREN president Joaquim Barbosa will close proceedings. Four panels will address geopolitics and regulation, technology, corporate energy diversification, and financing decarbonisation.
