Lisbon water conference to debate tariffs, funding and reform

The 21st Expo Conferência da Água, part of Semana de Ambiente 2026, will take place on 19 and 20 November. Organisers have revealed some of the panel topics, including the restructuring of the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), the future of the water market in Portugal, new Portugal 2030 funding for supply and sanitation, the tariff regulation framework, and risks in public procurement. Further panel details and four more sessions for the 2027 agenda will be announced later. The event runs alongside the Fórum Energia and Fórum Resíduos as part of the same sustainability week.
