Loulé hands over 36 affordable-rent homes at Urbanização Clona

Topicssustainable housing

Loulé council handed over 36 public homes for affordable rent at Urbanização Clona, near Mina do Sal, on Tuesday. Tenants are mainly young people, security-force members and teachers working in the municipality, plus middle-income families priced out of the market. The T1 to T4 flats were fully funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) under the Local Housing Strategy 2019-2032. They were allocated through the second public-housing draw. The council has now delivered 171 homes this term and is working on nearly a thousand housing solutions. Mayor Telmo Pinto promised further draws, with shorter waits between draw and keys.
