LPN submits recommendations for Portugal's 2030 environmental education strategy

The environmental group LPN has submitted its contribution to the public consultation on Portugal's National Environmental Education Strategy 2030 (ENEA 2030). While welcoming progress on behavioural change, civic participation and geodiversity, LPN calls for greater attention to soils and forests, stronger integration of social and behavioural sciences, and better handling of socio-environmental conflicts. It also urges improved evaluation of existing initiatives, closer coordination between environmental education facilities, promotion of nature-based learning, ongoing teacher training, and robust governance and funding mechanisms to ensure projects and teams have continuity.
