LPN takes environmental education stand to Eco-Schools national gathering in Sintra

On 8 October 2026 the nature conservation league LPN had a stand at the Eco-Mostra, part of the Green Flags Day marking the 2026 Eco-Schools awards, held at Air Base No. 1 in Sintra. The event, co-organised by ABAAE and Sintra council, recognises the more than 2,200 schools in the programme. Teachers and pupils visited the stand to learn about LPN's environmental education projects and its training centre. LPN board member Ruben Oliveira and Jorge Fernandes, a teacher seconded to the organisation, also sat on the jury for the "Biodiversity in My School" project.
