Mediterranean Diet Fair closes another edition in Tavira
Tavira's Mediterranean Diet Fair concluded after four days, drawing thousands of visitors to the town's historic centre, streets, squares, gardens and cultural venues. The programme included exhibitions, book launches, seminars, workshops, gastronomic demonstrations, health and physical activity initiatives, family activities, music, dance and theatre. Around two hundred exhibitors took part, including producers, artisans, associations and cultural agents. The municipality said the event reinforced intercultural dialogue and supported the goals of the Mediterranean Diet Safeguarding Plan, aiming to keep traditional knowledge, products and practices alive across generations.
