Odemira hosts national farming forum on climate and irrigation

Odemira will host the 8th Horticultural Colloquium on 17 July, part of the FACECO fair, organised by the Lusomorango producers' association with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Under the theme "Rebuild, Produce, Grow," the event brings together politicians, experts and business leaders to discuss the economic impact of storm Kristin, farm resilience to climate shocks, and the future of the Mira irrigation perimeter. Speakers include the CAP president, former agriculture secretaries of state, and Odemira's mayor. The agriculture and environment ministers are expected to attend, though their presence remains unconfirmed.
