REN launches mobile game on building electricity grids

REN – Redes Energéticas Nacionais has released Guess Watt, a mobile game challenging players to plan and build electricity grids while keeping communities supplied with power. Players work with limited budgets, choosing sites, investing in repairs and responding to unexpected events such as storms that threaten supply. Sustainability considerations run through the decisions at every stage. Aimed mainly at younger audiences aged 12 and up, the game covers steps such as stakeholder relations, easements and environmental issues. It was developed by companies within WYgroup and is available on the App Store and Google Play.
