Social innovation incubator O Moinho launches in Olhão with three-year plan

O Moinho, a social innovation incubator for the eastern Algarve, was publicly presented in Olhão on 14 October. It has a 36-month plan to help develop and nurture social-impact projects, build the skills of organisations and create collaboration networks, with the aim of answering local challenges and encouraging social entrepreneurship. The launch at the municipal library brought together regional development officials, the national social innovation mission, Olhão council, YMCA Setúbal and local project leaders. A round table on obstacles and cooperation was followed by a Human Library session in which regional projects talked directly with participants.
