Tavira's Mediterranean Diet Fair returns with Piçarra and Deslandes

Tavira's historic centre hosts the 12th Mediterranean Diet Fair from 3 to 6 September, with free entry and four days of music, food, crafts and heritage events. Os Vizinhos open the concert programme at Praça da República, followed by Carolina Deslandes, fado singer Marco Rodrigues and, closing the fair, Diogo Piçarra. International acts play at the Castelo de Tavira, while around 200 craft and food stalls, gastronomic demonstrations, children's activities and museum exhibitions run across the city. The fair also includes the CCDR Algarve's Mediterranean Diet Innovation Prize, aimed at agri-food producers from the region.
