André Simão

André Simão is the founder and CEO of Solar Hands. Trained as an engineer, he built his career managing large-scale energy projects across competitive international markets before returning to Portugal to apply that expertise to decentralised energy. He founded Solar Hands to combine rigorous engineering with proximity, clarity and empathy towards clients, aiming to make solar energy genuinely accessible. He now leads the company's strategy of consolidating physical installation excellence whilst preparing to launch Carga, its digital platform, in 2027.
