Solar Hands is a Lisbon-based solar engineering company offering engineered solar PV, storage and operation & maintenance (O&M) services for residential, commercial and industrial clients in Portugal, with selective reach into wider European markets. Registered with DGEG, the company has delivered more than 80 projects in 2025 across the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region. The company serves three main audiences: homeowners seeking energy independence and lower bills through solar systems with or without storage; businesses looking to turn energy costs into a profitable asset with a 3–5 year payback; and municipalities, condominiums and business parks interested in energy communities that share solar power among multiple consumers. Solar Hands follows a three-step process: a free diagnostic assessment of consumption, site and goals; a tailored proposal with estimated production, savings and payback; and installation completed within three days by its own certified team, followed by after-sales support. A documented case study of a residential project in Setúbal shows an 8.33 kWp system with 15 kWh of storage, cutting the family's energy bill by around 75% with an estimated payback of 6.75 years. Beyond installation, the company is developing Carga Labs, described as the 'operating system' for energy communities — a platform with three modules aimed at clients wanting to go further than a simple installation.
