Hugo

Hugo is co-founder and host of Retiro Atlântico, holding a degree in Nature Guiding and a passion for permaculture. This enthusiasm led him to build and develop the retreat's food forest, home to Europe's largest collection of rare organic tropical and subtropical fruit trees. In 2012, after completing his studies, he moved to São Jorge Island, where he began transforming abandoned land into what would become the glamping project. Alongside Natacha, he opened Retiro Atlântico in 2019.
