João Gavião

João Gavião is one of the three founding members of Associação Passivhaus Portugal (PHPT), alongside Rafael Ribas and João Marcelino. The association was created in 2012 as part of a strategy defined by Homegrid and the Passivhaus Institut to implement and develop the Passivhaus concept in Portugal. That strategy involved building the first certified Passive House, monitoring its performance and setting up the association. The association's goals are to promote the Passive House concept and to contribute to Portugal's energy independence and sustainability.
