João Gonçalo Soutinho is President and Co-founder of VERDE – Associação para a Conservação Integrada da Natureza, established in 2021. The organization develops sustainable models for nature conservation and integrates innovative solutions to protect natural ecosystems. VERDE operates a network of over 210 volunteers engaged in mapping and protecting endangered species and habitats.
