Luís Afonso

Luís Afonso is a co-founder of the Biggest Mini Forest movement and holds a Master's Degree in Engineering with specialization in Agroforestry, Miyawaki Forest methods, and Ecosystem Regeneration. Since 2020, he has pioneered the Mini Food Forest concept, starting with an experimental jungle in a bathtub and expanding to help establish over 80 Mini Food Forests across Portugal, Spain, and Ecuador. His passion for regenerative agriculture and practical agroecology drives the mission to empower communities to grow food and restore biodiversity.
