Pedro Filipe Amaral Prata

Pedro Filipe Amaral Prata holds an MSc in ecology and evolution from Universiteit van Amsterdam, with early research on coral reef recovery in Curaçao. After years working across Brazil and the United States, he returned to Europe and joined ATN, leading the rewilding initiative at Faia Brava. He now directs expansion of this rewilding strategy across the Côa river basin to restore biodiversity and address land abandonment in Portugal's interior.
