Algarve launches free tool for SMEs to assess sustainability

A new free online tool, the Barómetro PME + Sustentável, allows small and medium-sized businesses in the Algarve to self-assess their environmental, energy and sustainability performance. Developed under the Descarbonizar + Algarve project, it provides a diagnosis of a company's environmental and energy maturity and lets firms compare results with peers in their sector. The initiative is co-financed by the Algarve 2030 Regional Programme, part of Portugal 2030, and run jointly by NERA, the Algarve Tourism Region and AREAL, aiming to support the region's businesses in adopting more sustainable practices.
