Beja-based LIMA Alentejo surveys farms on workforce training needs

Topicsagricultural training and education

The LIMA Alentejo project, a territorial laboratory for agricultural integration and mobility based in the municipality of Beja, has opened a regional survey of training needs among farms and agricultural businesses. Its aim is to bring training provision closer to what the sector actually requires. The project also seeks to connect farms short of labour with migrant workers, combining technology, professional training and social support. The online questionnaire is aimed at farm owners, managers and livestock operators across the Alentejo, and the answers will shape future training and the laboratory's action plan.
