Boticas cooperative dehydrates mushrooms to sell year-round

This episode of Faça Chuva Faça Sol follows the Cooperativa Agro Rural de Boticas, which has invested in mushroom dehydration technology to make the traditional autumn ingredient available across Portugal for more months of the year. The programme also covers the Rural Innovation Challenges event in Alfândega da Fé, promoting rural areas and young farmers, and a seminar on water strategy where newly appointed AdP Águas president José Macário Correia discussed Portugal's largest planned irrigation scheme. Further segments visit Algarve persimmon growers and preview the Terra'26 event on resilient farming practices, due in September.
