Dstsolar to lead €7m shared solar project in Águeda

Dstsolar will lead a pioneering project combining solar power generation, energy storage and collective self-consumption at the Parque Empresarial do Casarão in Águeda. Promoted by Águeda's municipal council as part of the 'Áreas de Acolhimento Empresarial de Nova Geração' initiative, the scheme involves a total investment of around €7 million. It will install 15 production and storage units, totalling 9.31 MWp of capacity and 9 MWh of storage, allowing 15 companies to jointly produce, store, share and consume locally generated renewable energy, cutting costs and carbon footprints. The battery system will be developed by b-again, a dstgroup company.
