Lisbon to host global sustainability conference in June 2026
The Lisbon Sustainability Week will take place from 30 June to 2 July 2026, organised by Católica-Lisbon SBE's Center for Sustainable Finance and Center for Responsible Business and Leadership, with Fundação Santander Portugal and SONAE MC. Over three days, more than 50 business leaders, academics, investors and public officials will discuss responsible leadership, sustainable investment, biodiversity and carbon neutrality. Speakers include Nobel laureate Robert F. Engle, John Elkington and Oxford's Cameron Hepburn. Each day has a distinct theme, covering business financing, nature-positive strategies and climate neutrality in cities, with the closing day held at the Beato Innovation District.
