Porto hosts international conference on cities and 2030 Agenda

On 19 June, Porto's Almeida Garrett Municipal Library will host the international conference "A Local Approach to the Sustainable Development Goals", organised by SDSN Portugal with ADENE, the ODSlocal Platform and Porto City Council. The event will bring together national and international experts, local authorities, academics and civil society representatives, including speakers from UN SDSN, SDSN Spain, UN Habitat, the OECD and Cork Healthy Cities. Running from 8:30am to 5pm, it will feature plenary sessions, round tables and case studies. Conclusions will feed into recommendations for public decision-makers on strengthening multilevel governance of the 2030 Agenda. Attendance is free with prior registration and simultaneous translation.
