Loulé launches one website covering its five protected natural areas
Loulé municipality has put online a website covering the five protected areas in its territory: Rocha da Pena, Fonte Benémola, Foz do Almargem e do Trafal, Nave do Barão and the Vale Telheiro cave. Each has its own page with natural and cultural heritage, technical information and photo and video galleries. The site also lists scientific and monitoring projects, walking routes, soundscapes and Algarvensis Geopark trails, plus news. It fills a gap the council had long recognised by gathering all information in one place, and is part-funded by European funds through the ALGARVE 2030 programme.
