Mortágua to host heating and ventilation congress on AI in buildings
More than a hundred professionals, teachers and lecturers from the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning sector will meet in Mortágua on Friday, 23 October, for the fifth international congress organised by Giacomini Portugal with the company MACOP. Prompted by the poor thermal and energy performance of many Portuguese buildings, the afternoon programme will look at using artificial intelligence to manage hot water and heating. Other topics include hydrogen for thermal energy, a new generation of heat pumps, radiant heating and cooling, controlled mechanical ventilation, and sustainable timber buildings. The session runs from 14:00 to 18:30 at the Montebelo Aguieira Lake Resort & Spa.
