Pombal secures €2.7 million to repair storm-hit waterways

Severe weather in January and February this year damaged watercourses and environmental infrastructure in the Pombal municipality, prompting emergency works. Twenty-one interventions have already been carried out. The council has now secured around €2.7 million in funding from the Fundo Ambiental to carry out further clearance and cleaning works on affected rivers and streams.
