Sociedade Ponto Verde updates guide on recyclable packaging design

The Sociedade Ponto Verde (SPV) has released a new edition of its "Guia das Embalagens Críticas na Triagem e Reciclagem", available on Ponto Verde Lab, offering producers and packagers recommendations for ecodesign practices that ease sorting and recycling. For the first time, it lists packaging types that will not qualify for bonuses under the new ecomodulation rules, such as black or opaque glass, certain dispensers and full-body plastic labels. Developed with SIGRE partners including Bluepapers, Ecoiberia and EGF group systems, the guide aims to help companies adapt as the Ecomodulation Ordinance takes effect, supporting Portugal's packaging recycling targets.
