Casa do Impacto

Casa do Impacto is a Lisbon-based centre dedicated to impact entrepreneurship, promoted by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa. It positions itself as a home for a new generation of entrepreneurs who believe in sustainable business models capable of creating positive social and environmental impact. The organisation runs incubation, acceleration and investment programmes, and works with public entities and private companies seeking to integrate social and environmental innovation into their operations. Among its flagship initiatives is RISE for Impact, a capacity-building programme now in its seventh edition, aimed at entrepreneurs developing solutions to social sustainability challenges. Casa do Impacto also leads the CONNECT consortium, an Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship Initiative bringing together Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Universidade Católica Portuguesa, funded by the European Union and supported by Lisbon City Council, Fundação Galp and Fundação Santander. The hub hosts around 75 resident organisations and has supported roughly 200 entrepreneurs, offering community events, workshops, mentoring and networking opportunities such as partnerships with the Entrepreneurship Awards. It has been recognised for three consecutive years on the Financial Times list of Europe's Leading Start-up Hubs in the Social Impact category. Located in central Lisbon at Travessa de São Pedro, Casa do Impacto welcomes the broader impact community into its space, hosting talks, webinars and workshops covering topics from ESG reporting to craft-based learning experiences such as Kintsugi. Its mission extends beyond its walls, aiming to spread social entrepreneurship from Lisbon and Portugal outward to the world.
