K-Evolution is a Portuguese non-profit association founded in 2013 that promotes sustainability, citizenship, and entrepreneurship through education, running community programs such as 'Nourish Your Nature' walks and workshops in the Setúbal region.
K-Evolution ('KE') is a non-profit association based in Setúbal, Portugal, founded in May 2013, whose main objective is to promote Sustainable Development through Education. Since 2019, it has been part of the UNESCO Clubs Network as the UNESCO K-Evolution Club – Education for Sustainability. The association structures its work around three pillars: personal development, active citizenship, and sustainable entrepreneurship, guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Agreement, and the European Green Deal.
KE works in partnership with municipalities, schools, companies, and other networks to co-create educational projects and community transformation initiatives, aiming to develop agents of change among children, young people, teachers, executives, and parents. Its activities include the 'Nourish Your Nature' ('Nutre a Tua Natureza') program, featuring nature walks, workshops connecting people with the natural world, and community garden projects such as 'Mãos na Terra', developed with local partners in Setúbal and Palmela. The association also runs the FAAZ project ('Environmental Tools from A to Z'), promoting ecological practices in communities in partnership with ICE and Flor de Murta, as part of the No Planet B program co-financed by the EU.
Through these initiatives, K-Evolution fosters a sense of belonging and collaboration, building multi- and transdisciplinary teams to design replicable, lasting solutions for education and sustainability. The association relies on an active base of volunteers and general assembly members to sustain its programs and community outreach efforts across the Setúbal region.
