Solar2Power is a solar photovoltaic and battery storage company operating across the Algarve, Portugal, from its base in Alcantarilha. Founded by a Dutch entrepreneur and now employing a multilingual local team (Portuguese, English, Dutch and German), the company has been active in the region for around eight years, delivering solar solutions to homes, businesses and holiday properties, including Airbnb rentals. The company's core offering covers the full range of a modern solar system: tier-1 monocrystalline solar panels, hybrid inverters with app-based monitoring, battery storage for night-time and outage backup, and EV home chargers integrated into the same system. All installations are carried out in-house by Solar2Power's own engineers, with no subcontractors involved, and each client is assigned a dedicated account manager from first enquiry through to switch-on and beyond. Solar2Power is a DGEG-registered installer and handles all grid connection paperwork and permit applications on behalf of clients. Its installations typically pay for themselves within four to six years, aided by the Algarve's exceptional average of 300 days of sunshine annually. To date the company reports over 608 clients served, more than 11,412 panels installed, and over 51,214 mWh of clean electricity generated. Every installation carries a workmanship warranty of up to 10 years. The company markets itself on transparency and continuity of service: fixed, all-inclusive quotes with no added costs after signing, and long-term follow-up support after installation. Recent featured projects include hybrid solar-and-battery systems in Loulé and Moncarapacho, combining brands such as Sharp, SMA, BYD, Kostal and LG ESS.
