Coworking firm to clean Caxias beach and turn the litter into a canvas

Portuguese coworking company IDEA Spaces will hold a beach clean-up at Praia de Caxias, in the municipality of Oeiras, on 17 October from 3pm to 5pm. It is organised with the environmental group Oceano Sem Plásticos. Once the waste has been gathered, participants will take part in a Canvas Workshop, using some of the objects they found to build a communal artwork. The company says the aim is to give discarded material a second life and involve its community in protecting the environment. The event belongs to IDEA Spaces' wellbeing project, Be OK!, and its wider sustainability programme.
