Danny

Danny is co-founder of Mellow Cogumelo, a permaculture project in the Alentejo combining a mobile wood-fired pizza business with a gourmet mushroom farm. He grew up around pizza, learning from his Italian grandmother, who was among the first to open a pizzeria in New York, and food, fire, and hospitality have always been part of his world. Together with Nathalie, his Belgian partner, he moved to the Alentejo to build a life closer to nature and an economy around food, cultivation, and the land.
