Stefano Novellino

Stefano Novellino is the founder and steward of Shangri-La, an organic biodynamic and permaculture farm near Silves, in the Algarve. Inspired by Rudolf Steiner and by regenerative, syntropic agriculture ideas, he has built a self-sufficient, microwave- and electronics-free community focused on healthy, sustainable living. Since opening to guests in June 2016, he has welcomed visitors, volunteers and residents to share in the farm's work and philosophy. He also hosts events such as fermentation and raw food retreats at the farm.
