Telma Lourenço
Telma Lourenço has managed Quinta Vale Do Tourão since 2020, a 38-hectare farm in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo that has been in the Lourenço family for three generations since the 1960s. Under her leadership, the farm shifted to organic production, now covering 10 hectares of almond trees, 5 hectares of olive groves and 1.2 hectares of vineyard. She has also driven the breeding of native Portuguese breeds, such as Churra Mondegueira sheep and Mirandesa donkeys, and the creation of homemade products like sheep milk soaps and almond goods.
