Arcaya

Arcaya is a residential village planned for 70 hectares of protected landscape in Vilamoura's Golden Triangle, Algarve. Its first phase covers 76 homes and a clubhouse, and construction is scheduled to begin in 2026. The developer is Bondstone, a Lisbon-based investment and asset management firm founded in 2016. The award-winning Spanish architecture studio Batlleiroig designed the village. The homes come in several types. The Arcaya Homes and Grove Residences are two-bedroom apartments designed to sit within the landscape. There are four luxury villa models (Terracotta, Timber, Sand and Sunset), each with four bedrooms, a private pool, a large garden and living spaces that open onto the outdoors. Plots for custom-built homes are also available. The project is working towards BREEAM certification, with the aim of keeping the environmental footprint of its buildings as small as possible across their whole lifecycle. Construction methods and landscaping are chosen to set the village within untouched forest, and residents will have natural walking paths and pure water gardens. Restaurants, a wellness centre, a grocery store and bike rental are planned on site, all within walking distance. Vilamoura Marina, with its beaches, golf courses and restaurants, is close by, as are schools, hospitals and international transport links. The Algarve gets more than 330 days of sunshine a year. The properties are offered as sustainable investments as well as homes: buyers can live in them, rent them out or resell them.
