Beesweet is a Portuguese beekeeping brand founded by two young cousins passionate about bees, innovation and honey. The project commercialises 100% Portuguese, BIO-certified hive products, crafted artisanally, positioning itself as a leading supplier in the premium and gourmet segment of rare, flavoured honeys. Beyond honey, Beesweet produces natural personal care items such as body butters that use beeswax as a natural protective and moisturising ingredient, reflecting the brand's commitment to valuing every element of the hive. Founder Ana Pais has built Beesweet around a philosophy that goes far beyond honey production: it blends organic beekeeping with innovation, environmental education, and a deep commitment to protecting bees and biodiversity more broadly. Ana is also part of the Rede das Guardiãs da Natureza (Network of Nature Guardians), and has been featured in podcast conversations discussing the essential role of bees in food systems and ecosystems, the importance of living more consciously and regeneratively, and the value of environmental education in reconnecting citizens with nature.
