Quinta do Luar is an organic and regenerative family farm offering nature-based experiences, herbal infusions and artisanal products. It welcomes visitors, families, groups and organisations to learn, explore and participate through tastings, agricultural activities, forest bathing and workshops on plants and traditional knowledge.
Quinta do Luar is a small family farm in Goujoim, Armamar, where Alexandra Rodrigues and Mário Santos chose to build a new chapter of their lives in 2021. They arrived at a neglected farm and gradually began restoring the land, learning from its rhythms and discovering the richness of the plants, trees, animals and traditional knowledge that surround it.
Their approach is based on organic and regenerative principles, with the ambition of creating a more self-sufficient farm while protecting biodiversity and respecting natural cycles. Agriculture is not only a way of producing food at Quinta do Luar; it is also a way of learning, sharing and connecting people with the land.
Over time, this relationship with the farm gave rise to new ways of welcoming people. Quinta do Luar now offers experiences that bring together plants, flavours, agriculture and nature, including herbal infusion tastings paired with artisanal products from the farm, hands-on agricultural experiences, forest bathing and workshops dedicated to wild edible and medicinal plants.
The Quinta also produces small batches of organic herbal infusions and artisanal preserves, using ingredients grown or gathered locally whenever possible.
At the heart of the project is a simple aspiration: to share the knowledge, flavours and stories of the land, while leaving this place better than they found it.
Our Goal
Our goal is to create a more self-sufficient, regenerative farm that protects biodiversity, preserves traditional knowledge and inspires people to reconnect with nature, food and the land.
