Quinta do Luar

Quinta do Luar is a rural farm in Goujoim, Armamar, offering 100% organic family farming, eco-tourism, forest bathing (silvoterapia), and artisanal organic jams and herbal infusions.
Located in Goujoim, Armamar, in Portugal's Douro interior region, Quinta do Luar is a rural farm dedicated to sharing an authentic countryside way of life while preserving nature and biodiversity. The project combines 100% organic family farming with eco-tourism activities designed to offer visitors an immersive connection with the land, its traditions, and its people. Guests can explore the property's gardens and trails, encounter local wildlife, and take part in silvoterapia (forest bathing) sessions that promote wellbeing through nature connection.
Quinta do Luar has developed a range of artisanal products made from herbs and flowers grown on site, including organic jams and exclusive herbal tea blends such as 'Serenidade da Quinta', 'Mulher da Terra' and 'Chocolate do Jardim'. These infusions are also offered as part of a curated tasting experience, pairing each blend with small bites that enhance its aromas — an invitation to discover the farm through a cup of tea. Tastings can be booked with at least 24 hours' notice.
The farm positions itself as part of the broader 'Bio Região' initiative, a project promoting sustainable development across the municipalities of Moimenta da Beira, Tabuaço and Armamar, united by the Tedo river. Through its activities, Quinta do Luar supports the economic and cultural revitalization of Portugal's rural interior while inviting visitors to reconnect with nature, slow down, and appreciate traditional rural life. The project is active on social media, sharing glimpses of daily life on the farm, its gardens, and the small creatures — like the resident ducks — that call it home.
