Casas da Levada is a family-run agritourism property located in Ponta do Pargo, on the west coast of Madeira Island, Portugal. Born from a small country retreat, the project has grown into a collection of six distinct houses — Casa da Cascata, Casa da Horta, Casa dos Pereiros, Casa da Vaca, Casa da Bica and Casa do Pastor — each offering a unique layout, private outdoor space and sweeping views over the Atlantic Ocean, surrounding gardens or the property's pool. Guests can also enjoy the whimsical Hobbit Bar, a fairy-tale-style space with a green roof and cozy interiors. Sustainability and permaculture sit at the heart of the project's identity, guiding both the design of the spaces and the day-to-day operations, with an explicit commitment to balancing the needs of guests, the local community, and future generations. The property produces its own artisanal cider, Sidra Endémica, made from apples grown in its own orchard in Ponta do Pargo, reflecting a strong connection to local terroir and traditional production methods.
