Do Zero

Do Zero is a Portuguese sustainability platform curating conscious brands, collaborations and a podcast, and organising Cidade Do Zero, one of the country's largest sustainability events.
Do Zero started as a project about sustainability and a lifestyle with less waste. Its website brings together dozens of Portuguese and international brands, from cosmetics and food to fashion and jewellery, each screened for environmental or social responsibility before being invited to join the community and offer a discount to members.
Since 2019 the team has recorded a podcast on sustainability, climate change and environmental and social responsibility, talking with scientists, activists and entrepreneurs. Since 2020 Do Zero has also released product collaborations with Portuguese brands it admires, always favouring circularity and environmental and social responsibility.
The project's best-known initiative is Cidade Do Zero, an annual event now described as one of the largest sustainability events in Portugal. Across its first two editions it drew more than 30,000 visitors, 150 brands and 150 activities.
Brands featured on the platform include Comfort Zone, Inouïe Beauty, Tarwi, Despensa R, Tribu Lisboa, MUKA, Bruga, CINCO, ORIGEM, Conscious the Label and Natulim, spanning categories such as natural cosmetics, plant-based food, upcycled clothing, urban agriculture and sustainable jewellery. Do Zero positions these partnerships as a way for its community to shop with brands that share its values while discovering new, more responsible alternatives to everyday products.
Our Goal
Do Zero promotes a lower-waste, more sustainable lifestyle in Portugal by connecting people with brands and initiatives that put social and environmental responsibility first.
Our Wishes
The project invites conscious brands and members of the public to join its community and take part in its annual event, Cidade Do Zero.
