OArborista
OArborista is a certified arboriculture company based in Sesimbra and Lisbon, led by the professional arborist Ruben Oliveira, who has over 15 years of experience. It offers urban and forest tree care, including selective pruning, crown reduction and hazardous tree management, as well as environmental consultancy.
OArborista is an arboriculture company working across the Sesimbra and Lisbon areas, and it specialises in urban trees. It's led by Ruben Oliveira, a certified arborist who trained at Broomfield Derby College in England and holds a City and Guilds NPTC certification. He brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience with urban and forest trees.
The services it offers are:
- selective pruning, to encourage healthy growth and structural integrity
- crown thinning, which lets light through without changing the tree's overall shape
- crown lifting, to remove lower branches safely
- sectional dismantling of medium to large trees, using ropes and climbing techniques
- assessment and management of hazardous trees
- general landscape maintenance for gardens, parks and institutional grounds
All work is done in strict compliance with health and safety standards. The company names environmental balance, ethics, speed and transparency as the principles that guide it. With specialist climbing equipment and ropes, the team can work safely in confined spaces and hard-to-reach places without putting surrounding property at risk.
OArborista also provides environmental consultancy, advising clients on tree health, species assessment and best practice in arboriculture.
Our Goal
To provide professional, certified arboriculture services that promote healthy, safe and environmentally balanced tree management in urban and forest settings across the Lisbon and Sesimbra areas.
Our Wishes
OArborista welcomes partnerships with municipalities, private landowners and environmental organisations looking for responsible, expert tree care and environmental consultancy.
