TryBio is an association dedicated to promoting organic farming in the Azores, bringing together producers and consumers across the archipelago's islands. It organises training courses, events and a producer directory to strengthen the local organic food network.

TryBio – Associação para a Promoção da Produção Biológica is an association based at Quinta de Santo Amaro, in Faial, Conceição, in the Azores, dedicated to promoting organic agricultural production throughout the archipelago. Acting as a bridge between producers and consumers, TryBio brings together 166 members and 56 producers across six islands, supporting a network built on trust, sustainability and shared values around biological farming practices. The association maintains an online directory of organic producers, helping consumers find growers of horticultural and fruit produce near them, from Faial to Pico and beyond. TryBio also organises courses and workshops, such as beekeeping initiation courses and organic farming training, and hosts talks and events where members share experiences and knowledge — including recent exchanges on agroforestry and tropical fruit systems learned from trips to Brazil. Beyond education, TryBio partners with local initiatives that value territory, local production and biodiversity, such as collaborations tied to regional gastronomy and bio-region routes in the Azores. The association actively promotes the benefits of organic farming: healthier and more nutritious food, more balanced and fertile soils, greater biodiversity, efficient use of materials and energy, closer relationships between producers and consumers, and respect for animal welfare and natural ecosystems. Rooted in its rural island context, TryBio functions as a hub for organic farming knowledge exchange, community engagement and advocacy, helping small-scale producers reach wider audiences while raising public awareness of the health and environmental value of biological agriculture across the Azores.
