Quinta dos Sabores

Quinta dos Sabores is an organic farm on São Miguel, Azores, with a farm-to-table restaurant and cosy countryside accommodation. It combines sustainable vegetable growing with hospitality centred on fresh, seasonal, local ingredients.
Quinta dos Sabores is an organic vegetable farm in Rabo de Peixe, on São Miguel in the Azores, Portugal. Most of the estate is given over to organic farming. It grows a wide variety of vegetables, from unique varieties to more conventional produce, and follows the seasons closely.
The farm runs a farm-to-table restaurant with a surprise menu of several courses, shaped by whatever is growing on the land at the time. Guests can also stay overnight in cosy accommodation in the countryside, designed for comfort and quiet. It suits a romantic break, a family holiday or simply slowing down.
The idea behind the farm is that a meal should be more than what arrives on the plate. For the quinta, it's also about connecting with nature, the land and time. That thinking is part of a wider commitment to sustainable, slow living rooted in Azorean nature and tradition.
The quinta also shares its story with the wider community: where the farm came from, what daily life there looks like and how its hopes for the future are changing. Through these stories it invites people to slow down, look more closely at the small details of rural life and reconnect with authentic, seasonal, local food.
Our Goal
Quinta dos Sabores wants to grow organic, seasonal vegetables and serve them in its farm-to-table restaurant, while offering guests a peaceful countryside stay on São Miguel, Azores.
Our Wishes
The quinta welcomes visitors and overnight guests who want to reconnect with nature, slow living and authentic local food.
