LIPOR to hold seminar on urban gardens and climate change

LIPOR is organising a seminar titled "A Minha Horta no Clima de Amanhã" on 25 September at Casa do Corim, running from 8:45am to 1pm. The event addresses how urban gardens can adapt to hotter, drier conditions, covering soil health, drought-resistant crops, and community experiences such as the Famalicão gardens. It is aimed at gardeners linked to LIPOR's Horta à Porta project and municipal technicians. The programme includes talks by researchers and practitioners, ending with a roundtable discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing urban gardens amid climate change.
