Ecodepur is a Portuguese company and national leader in the design and manufacture of wastewater treatment and reuse systems, operating internationally across Europe and Africa for over 20 years.

Ecodepur - Tecnologias de Protecção Ambiental is a Portuguese company headquartered in Ourém, specialising in the design, manufacture and operation of water and wastewater treatment and reuse systems. With more than 20 years of experience, the company develops compact, modular and decentralised solutions for domestic, industrial, commercial and touristic applications, addressing populations of up to 2,000 inhabitants and adapting to the legal and regulatory requirements of different markets. The company's product range includes septic tanks, biological septic tanks, holding tanks, micro wastewater treatment plants (AQUADEPUR), SBR and MBR compact treatment plants, grease separators, and hydrocarbon separators (DEPUROIL® and OILTECH), the latter certified with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in line with ISO 14025 and EN 15804. Ecodepur also manufactures water storage tanks in rotomoulded polyethylene and steel, suitable for drinking water and other applications. Operating mainly across Europe and Africa, and belonging to the Henriques SGPS group, Ecodepur has delivered projects internationally, including wastewater treatment plants for residential and tourism developments such as the Green Village complex in Morocco. The company has been recognised with the INOVADORA COTEC 2026 status and ranked among the Top 5% Best SMEs in Portugal in 2024, reflecting its financial solidity and commitment to innovation. Led by General Manager and co-founder Bernardo Taneco, Ecodepur maintains ISO 9001 certified quality management and continues to expand its international footprint, promoting water resource preservation and sustainable development through its Projects and Conception & Development department.
